How Do You Ensure My Branding Artwork is Printed Perfectly?
Poorly printed labels and tags can make your premium jeans look cheap. Blurry logos or mismatched brand colors undermine your design and damage your reputation before the customer even tries them on.
We guarantee perfect artwork reproduction by requiring high-resolution vector files, providing multiple proofing rounds, and using the Pantone system for exact color matching. Your brand’s integrity is our top priority.
We guarantee perfect artwork reproduction by requiring high-resolution vector files
Over the last 20 years, I’ve learned a hard lesson: you can make the best pair of jeans in the world, but if the hang tag looks cheap, the customer’s first impression will be that the jeans are cheap. For a designer like you, your logo and packaging are your signature.

They communicate your brand’s promise of quality. That’s why we have a process that is just as meticulous for printing a label as it is for sewing a seam. We treat your artwork with the precision it deserves, ensuring it looks exactly as you envisioned.

What file formats do you require for high-resolution artwork?

You send your beautiful logo to the factory. But they tell you the file is unusable, causing frustrating delays and forcing you to compromise on the final print quality.
We require vector files like Adobe Illustrator (AI), EPS, or print-ready PDFs. For image-based designs, we need layered PSD or TIFF files at a minimum of 300 DPI to ensure a sharp, professional result.

Getting the file format right from the start is the most important step to achieving a perfect print. It saves time and prevents any loss of quality. We prefer vector files because they are made of mathematical paths, not pixels. This means we can scale your logo to any size—from a tiny rivet to a large back patch—and it will remain perfectly crisp and sharp. If your design includes photographs or complex textures, we need a high-resolution raster file.

A resolution of 300 Dots Per Inch (DPI) is the professional standard for printing. Anything less will look blurry or pixelated. We also ask that you provide the source files with layers intact and any text converted to outlines. This gives us the flexibility to make small adjustments for printing and ensures there are no issues with missing fonts.

How many proof rounds are included for labels and tags?
You worry about a small typo or a misplaced element. Discovering a mistake after a full print run is a costly and time-consuming disaster that can throw off your entire launch schedule.
Our standard service includes one to two free rounds of digital proofs. This allows you to check every detail and make minor adjustments before anything goes to print, preventing expensive errors.
Our standard service includes one to two free rounds of digital proofs
The proofing stage is our shared safety net. It is where we work together to catch any potential issues before they become real problems. I’ve learned from experience that it’s much cheaper to spend an extra day reviewing proofs than it is to reprint a thousand hang tags.

Our process is designed to be simple and effective. After we receive your artwork, we will prepare a digital proof and send it to you within one or two business days. This proof is for you to check spelling, sizing, color placement, and a layout. You can request small changes, and we will send you a revised proof.

This first round of changes is included. Often, a second round is needed for final tweaks, and that is included as well. If further changes are required after the second proof, we may charge a small fee, but our goal is to get it perfect within those first two rounds. This process puts you in complete control and gives you total confidence before we start production.
Can you precisely match my Pantone colors?
Your brand has a very specific shade of blue. But on the final labels, it looks like a completely different color, damaging your brand consistency and looking unprofessional.
Yes, we can match your colors with extreme precision. Just provide us your Pantone Matching System (PMS) code, and our team will match it to ensure perfect brand consistency across all materials.
Yes, we can match your colors with extreme precision
Color is the heart of a brand’s identity. Inconsistency is not an option. That’s why we use the Pantone system, which is the global standard for color communication. It works like a universal recipe for color, guaranteeing that your signature blue in New York looks the exact same coming out of our print shop in Dongguan.

The process is simple. You provide us with the specific Pantone code for your colors (for example, PMS 18-3838 Ultra Violet). Our print technicians then use this code to precisely mix the inks or select the correct thread or material. Before we run the full batch, we will produce a color sample, often called a “strike-off,” for your approval.

We will also advise you on how the base material, like a brown kraft paper tag versus a white woven label, might slightly alter the color’s appearance, ensuring the final result is exactly what you expect. Once you approve the sample, we lock in that formula for your entire production run.
What digital proofs can I review before final printing?
You’ve designed a label with a special embossed logo, but you’re not sure how it will look. You’re hesitant to approve the final print without seeing a more realistic preview of the finished product.
Before printing, we provide a full set of digital proofs. This includes a final PDF for layout, a high-fidelity color sample to check hues, and even mockups to visualize special finishes like embossing.
Before printing, we provide a full set of digital proofs.
We believe you should know exactly what you are getting before we start production. A simple PDF is not always enough, especially for complex designs with unique materials or finishes. That is why we provide a series of proofs designed to give you a complete picture of the final product.
The Blueprint (PDF Proof): This is the first and most critical proof. It is a technical file that shows all the final dimensions, text, logo placement, and position of any special elements like QR codes or foil stamping areas. You use this to confirm that all the information is correct and everything is in the right place.

The Color Swatch (Digital Color Sample): We can create a high-resolution digital print on the actual material you’ve chosen, like a piece of cotton for a woven label or a sheet of cardstock for a hang tag. This lets you see how your Pantone colors will appear on the final substrate.

The Special Finish Preview: For techniques like embossing, debossing, or foil stamping, we can provide a digital mockup or a physical sample from a previous job to show you the depth and texture you can expect. This helps you visualize the tactile and visual effect.
Conclusion
We manage your artwork with a precise, multi-step approval process. This ensures your branding is perfectly reproduced through correct file formats, exact color matching, and detailed digital proofs.
